We integrate with hCaptcha to protect you against spam and other types of automated abuse.
To get started with hCaptcha you will need to register a site (or use an existing one). Make sure you add your site domain as well as wait.crowdhandler.com
Once your site is created, you can access your site key. Make note of it.
Now access your account settings page and copy your Account-level Secret. You may need to generate a new one if you don't have the currently active one to hand.
Copy these keys and paste them into the corresponding fields in the CrowdHandler captcha screen.
Enter your:
- Site Key in the Site Key field
- Secret Key in the Secret Key field
E fare clic su Salva.
It is critical that you copy these keys correctly. Failing to use the correct keys when hCaptcha is required on your Waiting Room will prevent visitors from completing the hCaptcha verification.
Each waiting room can have specific hCaptcha behavior applied.
Questi sono:
- Never - Never display the hCaptcha challenge
- Always - Always display the hCaptcha challenge for every visitor
- Over Rate - Only show the hCaptcha when the number of users trying to access your site exceeds the rate limit set for the domain.
Changing these settings will automatically save the room configuration.
If the Site Key & Secret Key are not properly configured, these options will be disabled.
If you clear your site key & secret key, all waiting rooms will automatically be set to Never.
Troubleshooting:
If hCaptcha is not working as expected:
- Verify your keys - Ensure both Site Key and Secret Key are correctly copied
- Check your domains - Make sure all relevant domains are added to your hCaptcha site configuration
- Review difficulty settings - Adjust the difficulty level if users are experiencing issues
For additional support with hCaptcha configuration, refer to the hCaptcha documentation.
